We know trying to figure out what adapter plug and power adapter you need for the items you are taking can be difficult. This is why we have tried to make this process as simple as possible.

When and Why do I need adapters for the items I am taking with me?
|
| Most foreign countries do not use the same voltage or outlets as we use in the United States. Some of those countries even have more than one type of outlet or different voltages depending on where you are in that country. You need to take the correct adapters so you will be able to use the items you take with you on your trip. If you do not have the correct adapter your items will not work or even worse, you may damage the items.

Do you sell a kit that will work in every country?

| Since there are so many options for voltage converters and adapter plugs there is no way to have one for every country in the world. However, we do have the Dual Voltage Adapter Kit that will work in most countries for most appliances. We still recommend double checking the country you are traveling to and verify you have the appropriate adapter plugs. |

Can I use items I bought overseas here in the United States?

| Yes, low wattage (under 50 Watts) foreign appliances can be used in the United States with the Model V5RB Reverse Converter. |

Can I use my Flat Iron in other countries?
|
| Hair Straighteners & Flat Irons are becoming more popular and many people want to take them overseas when they travel. Most North American models require 120 volts and 200 watts or more of electrical power. Many of these devices contain "electronic" control circuits which can be damaged when used with a "solid state" voltage converter. Therefore we must recommend that you DO NOT take them with you on your travels.

What if I am traveling to different countries on my trip?
|
|
If you plan to go to more than one country we suggest using the drop down list at the top of this page and adding all appropriate items for each of those countries. When you are ready to checkout you can delete duplicate items from your shopping cart before you have pay. This will make sure you will be able to use your items on your entire trip.
